NEW DELHI: Starting a football club right from the scratch can in no way be easy and it certainly wasn’t the case for Fateh Hyderabad FC founder Yogesh Maurya, who left a corporate job to dedicate himself fully to coaching and football while simultaneously trying to develop a larger vehicle at the grassroots level.
His passion, dedication and perseverance has resulted in the only professional football club from Hyderabad that plays in the 2nd Division of I-League, Fateh Hyderabad AFC, since November 2015. After finishing last in their maiden season of the competition, this year Fateh Hyderabad topped their group and remained the only unbeaten team at the end of round one.
